More On The Speech-President's comments in blue

Second, the militant network wants to use the vacuum created by an American retreat to gain control of a country, a base from which to launch attacks and conduct their war against non-radical Muslim governments.

That attitude assumes that everything's going well in Iraq right now

It's Not

That attitude assumes a US retreat is necessary for the other two conditions to come about

It's Not

They achieved their goal for a time in Afghanistan. Now they've set their sights on Iraq. Bin Laden has stated the whole world is watching this war and the two adversaries: It's either victory and glory or misery and humiliation.

And that's the problem, people who think only in terms of sharp-reliefed black & white mindsets are usually more responsible for their own misfortunes than any others they attempt to shift blame on

"It's either victory and glory or misery and humiliation" is exactly the 100% WRONG attitude to have when waging long-term struggles against vague, nebulous and perpetually shifting targets, it's a mindset that believes Governments can kill their way out of any potential or future terrorist attacks, a mindset that looks as military personnel's lives as nothing but cannon fodder of the most wasteful and blood-drenched sort

It's that attitude that shows a complete lack of concern or empathy for those negatively impacted by W's Iraq Crusade, hence a feeling of almost shame & humiliation directed at those soldiers with the nerve, the gall, to get maimed and killed carrying out their imperious leader's dreams of empire, dreams that must have cut especially deep if President Jr is gnawed by self-doubts he incurred when enthusiastically avoiding military service in areas with hostile combat

The attention paid to those who died and were maimed carrying out his plans is a trifling speck to President Jr, it's attention that could more properly be applied into making it easier for people to once again see W in his former "Strong Leader" persona

Evil men obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience must be taken very seriously, and we must stop them before their crimes can multiply.

Defeating a militant network is difficult because it thrives like a parasite on the suffering and frustration of others.

And that is EXACTLY why I rage, insult and excoriate this Administration whenever possible, even on a barely read site like this, to stop, if even just minutely, the banal evil of corruption fused with extremist theology, one that looks at the lives of all others as not worth the most basic empathy, compassion unless those people belong the the group that President Jr called his base-"The Haves & The Have Mores"

Only those able to contribute big money to the right political issues and causes merit any empathy, sympathy, concern or aggressive action from the "righteous fraud" currently occupying the White House

The radicals exploit local conflicts to build a culture of victimization in which someone else is always to blame and violence is always the solution.

Pot, kettle, black. Stones, Glass Houses. And so on

The radicals depend on front operations such as corrupted charities which direct money to terrorist activity. They are strengthened by those who aggressively fund the spread of radical, intolerant versions of Islam in unstable parts of the world.

The militants are aided as well by elements of the Arab news media that incite hatred and anti-Semitism, that feed conspiracy theories and speak of so-called American war on Islam with seldom a word about American actions to protect Muslims in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Somalia, Kosovo, Kuwait and Iraq.

In the aftermath of Katrina, it was learned that federal disaster relief dollars went directly to a Pat Robertson charity, an intolerant "Christian" who advocates assassinating foreign leaders who are no threat of any kind to the US, and seems almost joyful when discussing God's wrathful judgements inflicted on Robertson's critics and those he bleats are destroying society in a sea of moral relativism.

In Robertson's view, along with the rest of the Modern Day US Pharisees-like James Dobson, James Kennedy, Paul & Tammy Crouch-it's ONLY their form of Christianity that's persecuted by the Government and popular culture in this country, while other religions are free to proselytize and preach ferociously in the faces of those they seek to convert

In fact, we're not facing a set of grievances that can be soothed and addressed. We're facing a radical ideology with unalterable objectives: to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world. No act of ours invited the rage of the killers, and no concession, bribe or act of appeasement would change or limit their plans for murder.

Again, this is NOT a problem that can be killed away, there's no magic number of bodies that will cause the conflicts to cease, and to say that various US alignments around the world-usually bolstering major human-rights abusing regimes-don't feed into a long term resentment, hatred, and a burning desire to punish harm done to innocents is to insist on a far higher standard of civility on those we've wronged than we would ever stand for if directed against us, our families or friends

Insisting on Angelic behavior or warm platitudes from others, while letting our baser traits run roughshod over others
without the least bit of criticism allowed is arrogance at it's most obnoxious, loathsome vile and infuriating

On the contrary, they target nations whose behavior they believe they can change through violence.

Point well proven seeing as how it relates to our President's motivation for Invading Iraq

Like the ideology of communism, our new enemy pursues totalitarian aims. Its leaders pretend to be in an aggrieved party, representing the powerless against imperial enemies.

In truth, they have endless ambitions of imperial domination and they wish to make everyone powerless except themselves.

Under their rule, they have banned books and desecrated historical monuments and brutalized women.

They seek to end dissent in every form and to control every aspect of life and to rule the soul itself.

From President Jr's own mouth comes the truth about his own Administration and his extremist theological allies, the Modern Day Pharisees-the stench of hypocrisy is at gag-strength with such a blatantly two-faced statement

Zarqawi has said that Americans are, quote, the most cowardly of God's creatures, but let's be clear: It is cowardice that seeks to kill children and the elderly with car bombs and cuts the throat of a bound captive and targets worshipers leaving a mosque.

It's also cowardice of the most shameful kind to have avoided active military service in a combat zone by using political connections to stay in the rear with the gear, it's cowardly to send US troops understaffed, undertrained and underequipped with effective body & vehicle armor, all while issuing a statement-"Bring It On" while esconced in a heavily guarded White House fortress an ocean away

It is courage that liberated more than 50 million people. It is courage that keeps an untiring vigil against the enemies of a rising democracy. And it is courage and the cause of freedom that once again will destroy the enemies of freedom.

It was NOT courage that liberated the people of Iraq & Afghanistan, at least none on display from the President, just those troops whose deaths President Jr is SO ahsmed of, he tries to keep the media and cameras as far away from cloth draped caskets as possible

And since it appears that Women in the New Iraq will have fewer secular rights to run their own lives, then the word "liberation" is a complete misnomer, unless it's used in the sense that, say, victims of suicide bombers, or errant US ordnance ends up "liberated" from their lives

The only thing modern about the militants' vision is the weapons they want to use against us. The rest of their grim vision is defined by a warped image of the past, a declaration of war on the idea of progress itself.

Truer words about how this Administration operates have never been spoken, as it's waging a war against all those not in President Jr's rapidly dwindling base of support

Those who despise freedom and progress have condemned themselves to isolation decline and collapse.

President Jr is presiding over the end of unquestioned power wielded by the US, trying to gut as many of the first 10 Amendments as possible to advance the agenda of his theologically extremist follwers

Defeating a broad and adaptive network requires patience, constant pressure, and strong partners in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and beyond.Working with these partners, we're disrupting militant conspiracies, destroying their ability to make war, and working to give millions in a troubled region of the world a hopeful alternative to resentment and violence.

First, we're determined to prevent the attacks of terrorist network before they occur. We're reorganizing our government to give this nation a broad and coordinated homeland defense. We're reforming our intelligence agency for the incredibly difficult task of tracking enemy activity, based on information that often comes in small fragments from widely scattered sources here and abroad.

We're acting, along with the governments from many countries, to destroy the terrorist networks and incapacitate their leaders.

So, if the above vague steps are the correct strategies to pursue, then why weren't they implemented BEFORE the invasion ever began?

How are any of these initiatives, bold, new, or a guarantee of pure success in the long run?

Our commitment is clear: We will not relent until the organized, international terror networks are exposed and broken and their leaders held to account for their acts of murder.

Then when will catching Usama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and/or Taliban Leader Mullah Mohammed Omar take precedence over all other issues in the supposed war on terrorists?

Third, we're determined to deny radical groups the support and sanctuary of outlaw regimes. State sponsors like Syria and Iran have a long history of collaboration with terrorists, and they deserve no patience from the victims of terror.

The United States makes no distinction between those who commit acts of terror and those who support and harbor them, because they're equally as guilty of murder.Any government that chooses to be an ally of terror has also chosen to be an enemy of civilization. And the civilized world must hold those regimes to account.

Fourth, we're determined to deny the militant's control of any nation which they would use as a home base and a launching pad for terror.

We don't criticize Saudi Arabia, even though it fits perfectly with the above graphs, we give the Saud family a free pass when it comes to Human Rights, yet expect the rhetoric of "Standing with the oppressed and against the oppressor" to be accepted at face value

The terrorists' goal is to overthrow a rising democracy, claim a strategic country as a haven for terror, destabilize the Middle East and strike America and other free nations with ever-increasing violence.

And thanks to the most incompetent President this country's ever been inflicted with, the above points are now occurring inside Iraq and all while our troops are still there

Our coalition, along with our Iraqi allies, is moving forward with a comprehensive, specific military plan.

And just what IS that "comprehensive, specific military plan" that will smite the enemies and stabilize the Middle East?

The terrorists are as brutal an enemy as we've ever faced. They're unconstrained by any notion of our common humanity or by the rules of warfare.

And apparently the US Senate felt the same way about allegations and documented evidence regarding torture of detainees, enough that they voted, 90-9 to set clear standards of acceptable interrogating techniques and methods

Some observers also claim that America would be better off by cutting our losses and leaving Iraq now. It's a dangerous illusion refuted with a simple question: Would the United States and other free nations be more safe or less safe with Zarqawi and bin Laden in control of Iraq, its people and its resources?

After the atrocious lack of an immediate rescue & relief operation set in motion by Katrina, it's rather unlikely that the US is indeed SAFER from another large-scale terrorist attack-if anything, I would submit that we're even less well-prepared to respond than we were on September 11

There's always a temptation in the middle of a long struggle to seek the quiet life, to escape the duties and problems of the world, and to hope the enemy grows weary of fanaticism and tired of murder.

This probably applies MORE to the President who's spent over a year of his Administrations on vacation

Too tired to continue-maybe finish dissecting tomorrow, maybe not
